So, it’s prudent that you take care of them and have them cleaned professionally from time to time.

However, you can’t take them to the optician every day to get them cleaned.

Here are a few tips that will help you clean your glasses like a professional at home.

Rinsing Your Glasses

Most people have the habit of wiping their glasses many times a day. It might feel like a great habit, but this is the main reason the glass has a lot of scratches.

When you clean your glasses without rinsing them first, you can make the debris cause scratches. So, always run your glasses under water before cleaning them dry with a soft cloth.

Right Cloth To Clean Your Glasses

Toilet paper, is abrasive, as are serviettes & tissues & paper towels none of these is ever a good option to clean your glasses.

No matter how soft they may seem to you, their texture can leave scratches on your glasses.

Another bad habit is to clean their glasses with the tail of their shirt; the fibres in your clothes can also scratch the lens unless its pure cotton avoids this as well.

Always hold your glasses from the bridge. This will keep the shape intact. Holding the glasses from its side will bend the frame. You may not know this, but bent frames can affect your vision negatively.
