It has been 7 years since Specs Direct moved to the new location on Barnet High Street.

The building apparently was the fourth Mothercare store which opened in the UK. I used to visit the store to buy clothes (but usually toys) for my little girl Thekli who is now 14 years old. It was left vacant for a few years before it was transformed to Specs Direct Opticians.

My wife Natia, was the Architect and she made a great job. Thanks, Natia!! Below are some before and after photos. It is truly amazing how architects can transform a space!
